Terms and Conditions


  • Scope of services: MARS-Global agrees to provide medical writing and biostatistics services to the client as specified in the service agreement or work order.
  • Deliverables and timelines: MARS-Global agrees to deliver completed work products to the client according to the agreed-upon timeline, subject to any delays that may be caused by client feedback or other factors outside of MARS-Global's control.
  • Pricing and payment terms: MARS-Global agrees to provide pricing for its services in advance of the engagement and in accordance with the service agreement or work order. Payment terms are net 30 days from the date of invoice.
  • Confidentiality and data protection: MARS-Global agrees to keep all client information confidential and to protect it in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. Client data will be used solely for the purposes of fulfilling the engagement and will not be shared with any third parties without the client's express consent.
  • Intellectual property: MARS-Global agrees that any work product created during the engagement shall be owned by the client, subject to MARS-Global's rights to use the work product in accordance with the service agreement or work order.
  • Termination and cancellation: Either party may terminate the engagement upon written notice to the other party, subject to any fees or other obligations set forth in the service agreement or work order.
  • Liability and indemnification: MARS-Global shall not be liable for any damages arising out of or in connection with the engagement, except to the extent caused by MARS-Global's gross negligence or willful misconduct. The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless MARS-Global from any claims, damages, or losses arising out of or in connection with the engagement, except to the extent caused by MARS-Global's gross negligence or willful misconduct.
  • Compliance: MARS-Global agrees to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry guidelines, including but not limited to Good Clinical Practice (GCP), European Medicines Agency (EMA) guidelines, and Consolidated Standards of Reporting Trials (CONSORT) and International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) authorship guidelines.
  • Governing law and dispute resolution: The service agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the engagement shall be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the rules of the London Court of International Arbitration.
