What you want to know about mARS-Global scholarship

Research to Publication is a program independently sponsored by Pfizer. a research methodology and publishing program specifically designed for doctors and healthcare researchers, brought to you by BMJ in collaboration with University of California, San Francisco (UCSF).

The first stage:

Is a detailed recorded educational course of 200 hours (3 months).

The second stage:

The preparation of research ideas and their implementation under the supervision of the MARS team.

At this point, you don't have to provide a letter of recommendation from an outside mentor because our organization will keep track of your learning steps and oversee your research.

MARS is a great platform for anyone who is new to the research and publication phase especially when they are pursuing their masters program. I had the privilege to go through the entire program unfortunately after I was done with my masters program but it cleared lot of the ambiguity that was left earlier.

The program is quite concise and has a perfect flow to the research program starting right from the development of research question to the end of publication that is the misconduct that the publication authors do and how the journals go through such phase. It described the entire publication process in a detailed yet concise manner which didn’t make the subject dry. The questions part was most fun to check whether we got the gist of the module. Activities were another way to keep the reader engaged and helped in clearing out any blind spots that one might have faced in the content.

The overall experience with this educational part was great for me as I was away from studies for more than three years now and I loved coming back to it with the most informative yet engaging program.
